East Tennessee State University(이스트테네시주립대학교)Pharmacy professor named to editorial board of scholarly journal

Dr. Sam Harirforoosh, an associate professor in East Tennessee State University’s Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, has been selected to serve on the editorial board of a scholarly journal.

Clinical Pharmacokinetics, published by Springer Healthcare, is noted as the “major review journal in the area of clinical pharmacokinetics” and “promotes the continuing development of clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for the improvement of drug therapy and aims to advance postgraduate education in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.”

Harirforoosh, who teaches in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, is also a member of ETSU’s Center of Excellence for Inflammation, Infectious Disease and Immunity. His research interests are centered on pharmacogenomics, cardiovascular and renal adverse effects of drugs, pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modelling, and nanoparticle formulation of drugs. He has conducted and continues to conduct a number of research projects and has written many publications on those topics. 

Harirforoosh also serves on the editorial boards of Heliyonand Journal of Integrative Nephrology and Andrology.
