Vernon L. Jarboe, president of the law firm of Sloan, Eisenbarth, Glassman, McEntire & Jarboe, LLC has announced that Northwest Missouri State University alumnus Aaron R. Bailey has been accepted as a partner of the firm.

Bailey earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism at Northwest in 2005.

Bailey joined Sloan Law Firm as a law clerk in February 2009 as a first-year law student at Washburn University School of Law and accepted a permanent position with the firm upon graduation. 

He is admitted to practice law before the state courts of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. He engages in a general practice of law, including civil litigation, business transactions and litigation, estate planning and probate, and real estate matters.

A resident of Lawrence, Kansas, Bailey is active in the community, serving on the Historic Resources Commission for the city of Lawrence, and he previously served on the Board of Directors for The Shelter Inc. His professional associations include the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Topeka Bar Association and Douglas County Bar Association.
